A Day in My Life
Rise and Grind
My day starts early—real early. I’m up by 3:30 AM, getting myself ready for another long day ahead. By 4:30, I’m out the door, headed on an hour-long drive to work. I start my shift around 6:00 AM, and from that point on, it’s nonstop.
At work, I train new officers, respond to calls, and take on responsibilities that often feel like I’m doing the supervisor’s job too. My shifts can stretch anywhere from 12 to 14 hours—and that’s on a normal day. On a good day, I’m done by 6:00 PM, but there are days when I’m not walking through my front door until much later.
Family First
When I get home, the real heart of my day begins—family time. I check in with my four amazing kids, make sure they’re okay, and that they’ve said their prayers. Prayer is a big part of my life. I talk to God throughout the day, and I love to sing to Him—especially in the early morning when everything feels peaceful and quiet.
Then it’s back into mom mode: cooking, cleaning, helping with homework. After all that, I finally carve out some time to do my own schoolwork. It’s not easy, but I’m proud of the life I’m building for myself and my family.
Applying Tech Tools in My Daily Life

Wrapping It All Up
Each day is long and full—but it’s mine. Between work, family, school, and faith, I’m learning how to balance everything while moving forward in my journey. Technology isn’t just something I’m studying—it’s something I’m learning to use in real life to manage time, stay focused, and grow.
Thanks for following along with a day in my life.
